Dear All,

I would like to inform you that FQS 11(2) -- "Visualising Migration and Social Division: Insights From Social Sciences and the Visual Arts" (http://www.qualitative-research.net/index.php/fqs/issue/view/34), edited by Susan Ball & Chris Gilligan -- is available online (see http://www.qualitative-research.net/index.php/fqs/issue/archive for former issues).

In addition to articles, relating to "Visualising Migration and Social Division", FQS 11(2) contains single contributions as well as articles, belonging to other FQS sections and dealing with various methods (f.e., grounded theory methodology, qualitative diaries, interviewing and survey research, discourse analysis, but also software and translation issues) and/or focusing on a variety of topics (like -- just a few examples -- organizing peaceful mass events, retirement transition in ballet dancers, or psychoanalytic treatment of suicidal men).

This newsletter provides information about:

A) FQS 11(2)
B) Conferences and Workshops
C) Links
D) Open Access News

All in all, 44 colleagues from 12 countries contributed to the new FQS issue -- a lot of work and a truly international endeavor we at FQS loved to accompany: thanks to all involved and enjoy reading!

Katja Mruck

Ps: FQS is an open-access journal, so all articles are available free of charge (see http://open-access.net/de_en/homepage/ for additional information about open access). This newsletter is sent to 12,677 registered readers.
