Dear All,
today we would like to draw your attention to a Call for Abstracts for the FQS Issue "Secondary Analysis of Qualitative Data: Approaches, Practices, Challenges," which is planned for September 2028 and edited by Kati Mozygemba, Wolfgang Dunkel, Tobias Gebel,
Maureen Haaker, Betina Hollstein, Dilek Ikiz-Akinci, Thomas Loesch, Silke Reineke & Gesa Saloga. The abstract submission deadline is the August 31, 2026.
We welcome contributions in which authors demonstrate the significance and relevance of the secondary use of qualitative research data for research practice and culture, outline developments over the past 25 years and the current state of the field, as well
as the need for a timely, critical discussion, and present methodological and methodological-theoretical contributions regarding the secondary analysis of qualitative data along five key topics: "Theoretical and methodological foundations of secondary analysis,"
"Practice-based case studies & best-practice examples," "Research ethics & data protection," "Critical reflection & future perspectives," "Interdisciplinary perspectives."
