[FUB-GEAS] FW: Reminder and Schedule Update: GEAS Summer Symposium 2014

Dear members of the GEAS, dear friends and colleagues,

 

We would like to invite you again and give you a short schedule update to our GEAS Summer Symposium on Friday, July 18^th 2014.

At this symposium, the first cohort of the graduate school’s PhD students will give very short presentations on their first year’s progress. At the beginning of next year, the PhD students will begin their fieldwork in East Asia. Thus, the symposium is a chance for the students to receive feedback on their research design from other colleagues than their peer group and GEAS faculty before starting their fieldwork phase. We would very much appreciate your support and critique.

We are planning to have a small summer fete afterwards, so please feel free to stay a bit longer.

 

Venue: Topoi-Villa, Lecture Room, Hittorfstr. 18 (front building, 1^st floor)

Time: 9-17 h
