Dear friends and colleagues,

 

the new semester is in good course and autumn brings some big changes: We are pleased to announce that after 6 years in its current building, the GEAS will be relocated on 4^th November.  To strengthen exchange and collaboration, we will move together with the other graduate schools of the department into the adjacent building, the yellow, former “TOPOI” villa across the garden. Please also note that the address of the GEAS remains unchanged: Hittorfstr. 18, 14195 Berlin.

 

In our new environment and with fresh ideas, we are happy to invite you to the following events at the GEAS in November:

Open Colloquium: Shinji Kojima (Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University)

GEAS Visiting Fellow Shinji Kojima’s research focuses on issues of social inequality and stratification, globalization, the sociology of work and social movements.
