Dear colleagues,

You are cordially invited to the next (online) Triple Alliance Discussion Roundtable in Area Studies on Friday, June 30th, 2 p.m. Berlin time/ 8 p.m. Beijing time.

Prof. Zhang Yongle will present his new book, Shifting Boundaries, on the global history of the "Monroe Doctrine". Seven scholars from all three universities Peking University (PKU), University of Tübingen (UT) and Freie Universität Berlin (FUB) are going to comment.  

Prof. Sabrina Habich-Sobiegalla (FUB) will lead through the event as moderator. The host of the meeting is Tübingen.
