Invitation to the DSpace-user meeting 2019

The DSpace Anwendertreffen 2019 (#DSpaceAT19) will take place on Thursday, April 11th, 2019 from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. Ensuing is a member’s meeting of the DSpace Konsortium Deutschland until 5:30 pm. Additional workshops will take place on Friday, April 12th, 2019 from 10am to 1pm. The DSpace Anwendertreffen 2019 is organized by the University Library of Bamberg and supported by The Library Code GmbH. The preliminary program is available at https://wiki.duraspace.org/x/BpQ7Bg.

This year, we would like to give everyone the chance to take part in a “minute madness”. Every participant will have 90 seconds to present one idea, project, repository or topic. The participants may or may not use slides. However, there is one rule only: the 90 seconds are non-negotiable. ;-) All presentations together shall give a broad overview about what is going on in the community and, moreover, will highlight “smaller” developments as well. Please consider if there is a topic you want to direct some attention towards.

The DSpace-user meeting 2019 will take place at the University of Bamberg, MG1/MG2, Markusstraße 8a, Bamberg, Germany (https://www.uni-bamberg.de/universitaet/anreise/markusstrasse-8a-mg1mg2/). Thanks to the support of The LIbrary Code GmbH it is free of charge for all participants.

To register, please send an email to anwendertreffen@the-library-code.de until March 31st, 2019. The number of participants is limited; therefore, we recommend registering as soon as possible. Please specify in your registration:
- Your name,
- the institution you are working for,
- if you will participate only on Thursday or on which workshop you would like to take part on Friday (information about the workshops: https://wiki.duraspace.org/x/BpQ7Bg),
-  if you’d like to participate on a dinner Thursday evening on a self-payment base, and
- your topic for the one-minute madness in case you want to participate actively.

Einladung zum DSpace-Anwendertreffen 2019

Das DSpace-Anwendertreffen 2019 (#DSpaceAT19) findet am Donnerstag, den 11. April 2019 von 10:00 bis 16:30 Uhr, statt. Im Anschluss tagt die Mitgliederversammlung des DSpace-Konsortium Deutschland bis voraussichtlich 17:30 Uhr. Am Freitag, den 12. April 2019 werden von 10:00 Uhr bis ca. 13:00 Uhr zusätzlich Workshops angeboten. Das DSpace-Anwendertreffen 2019 wird von der Universitätsbibliothek Bamberg organisiert und von The Library Code GmbH unterstützt. Dieses Jahr möchten wir das Anwendertreffen erstmals um eine „Minute Madness“ bereichern. Teilnehmende der „Minute Madness“ haben jeweils 90 Sekunden Zeit, um eine Idee, ein Thema, ein Repositorium oder eine beliebige Erweiterung (PlugIn) vorzustellen. Es können Folien verwendet werden, lediglich die maximale Zeitspanne von 90 Sekunden für jeden Vortrag darf nicht überschritten werden. Die Präsentationen in diesem neuen Format sollen einen vielfältigen Überblick über die Aktivitäten unserer Community geben und auch „kleine“ Entwicklungen sichtbar werden. Bitte überlegen Sie, ob es für Sie ein Thema gibt, dem Sie so zu 90 Sekunden Aufmerksamkeit verhelfen wollen. 

Das DSpace Anwendertreffen 2019 findet statt an der Universität Bamberg, MG1/MG2, Markusstr. 8a, Bamberg, Detuschland (https://www.uni-bamberg.de/universitaet/anreise/markusstrasse-8a-mg1mg2/). Dank der Unterstützung von The Library Code GmbH ist die Teilnahme kostenlos.

Um sich zu registrieren senden Sie bitte bis zum 31. März 2019 eine E-Mail an anwendertreffen@the-library-code.de. Bitte melden Sie sich so früh wie möglich an, da die Anzahl möglicher Teilnehmer*innen limitiert ist. Bitte geben Sie folgende Informationen bei der Registrierung an:
- Ihren Namen,
- die Institution für die Sie tätig sind,
- ob Sie ausschließlich am Donnerstag teilnehmen oder an welchem Workshop Sie gegebenenfalls am Freitag teilnehmen möchten,
- ob Sie an einem Abendessen auf Selbstzahlerbasis am Donnerstagabend teilnehmen möchten und
- Ihr Thema, falls Sie an der „Minute Madness“ teilnehmen möchten.
