Liebe Kolleg*innen,

ich möchte Sie gerne auf die neue Interviewreihe "Ab jetzt Open Access - Wie Zeitschriften ihr Geschäftsmodell umstellen können" aufmerksam machen. Die Videos wurden im Rahmen des vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) geförderten Projekts open-access.network entwickelt.

Ich habe mit Prof. Dr. Johan Rooryck über die Umstellung von Glossa: a journal of general linguistics gesprochen, mit Prof. Dr. Ludo Waltman zu Quantitative Science Studies und mit Stefanie Paß und Dr. Florian Witzmann zur Umstellung des Fossil Record. Die Interviewpartner*innen sprechen über ihre Motivation das Geschäftsmodell der Journale umzustellen, sowie über die Herausforderungen und Erfahrungen im gesamten Prozess.

I would like to draw your attention to the new interview series "From now on Open Access - How journals can change their business model".

The videos were developed as part of the open-access.network project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

 

I spoke with Prof. Dr. Johan Rooryck about the transformation of Glossa: a journal of general linguistics, with Prof. Dr. Ludo Waltman about Quantitative Science Studies, and with Stefanie Paß and Dr. Florian Witzmann about the transformation of the Fossil Record. The interview partners talk about their motivation to change the business model of the journals, as well as about the challenges and experiences during the whole process.
