ich möchte Sie auf eine aktuelle Stellenausschreibung der Bibliothek am Deutschen Zentrum für Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen (DZNE), einem Helmholtz-Zentrum mit Hauptsitz in Bonn, aufmerksam machen:

 

The Library and Information Services (LIS) of the DZNE in Bonn is looking for a

Database Specialist for LIS applications (f/m/x) - Code 1138/2022/9

 

Application deadline: October 20th, 2022

 

The LIS of the DZNE is part of the "Core Research Facilities and Services" (CRFS), a service unit offering the scientists a broad range of diverse technologies that are required by a state-of-the-art research. The department operates as a purely digital library and provides information and data services to DZNE researchers and staff, offering much room for personal commitment and creative possibilities.

 

Your tasks:

·        Management of existing and new projects concerning databases, repositories and specialized tools to store and deliver publication metadata, full texts, information and research data.

·        Programming and integration of database developments within the JOIN2 consortium (https://join2.de/Main/WebHome; DZNE instance of publication repository: https://pub.dzne.de/)

·        Collaboration in the further development of workflows for the management of DZNE publications and their metadata and for the preparation of data recollection and data deliveries from and to the scientists

·        Interface between the LIS and its partner libraries, IT, Strategy Office and other DZNE departments

·        General LIS activities (such as processing user requests, license and subscription management, training and support for the scientists)

·        Regular participation in project meetings and team meetings (online and on site)
