In der Knowledge Exchange Task & Finish Group Alternative Publishing Platforms (https://www.knowledge-exchange.info/event/alternative-publishing-platforms) wurde ein neuer Report veröffentlicht. Er geht vor allem auf die Ergebnisse einer Umfrage zu dem Thema ein. (Weitere Informationen siehe auch unten)

We are pleased to inform you that Knowledge Exchange (KE; https://www.knowledge-exchange.info/) has published the report Knowledge Exchange Analysis Report on Alternative Publishing Platforms.
 
This report is part of the Knowledge Exchanges’ work around Alternative Publishing Platforms (https://www.knowledge-exchange.info/event/alternative-publishing-platforms).
 
If you are interested in finding out about what individual alternative publishing platforms do and how they fit in the open scholarly communication ecosystem, then this report will be of interest to you.
 
KE invited platforms working in open access publishing to contribute to a survey and this report shares the first results. You can find out what the pros and cons of different platforms are and whether they differ significantly from traditional scholarly journals. The survey results certainly provide valuable and interesting insight into the world of alternative publishing platforms.
 
The work and writing were undertaken by the KE Task and Finish group for Alternative Publishing Platforms.
