(English version below) Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen, ich möchte Sie gerne auf zwei Online-Webinare aufmerksam machen, die das Projekt „Platinum Open Access Funding“ (PLATO) Mitte September zu den Themen Publikationsstandards und
Finanzierung von Diamond Open Access anbieten wird. Die Online-Webinare finden an zwei Freitagen,
am 15. und am 22. September 2023, jeweils von
11-12 Uhr via Zoom und in englischer Sprache statt.
Am 15. September werden „Open Access
Standards und Best Practices“ und am 22.
September „Nachhaltigkeit und Finanzierung“ im Fokus stehen. Beide Webinare richten sich vor allem an Herausgebende von Diamond-Open-Access-Zeitschriften (in der Schweiz, aber auch darüber hinaus) und
sollen eine Informations- und Austauschplattform hinsichtlich Anforderungen und Empfehlungen für wissenschaftsgeführtes Publizieren bieten, um Herausgebenden die Möglichkeit zu geben, Optimierungspotenziale in ihrem Zeitschriftenbetrieb

webinar’s
focus will be on
„open access
standards and best practices“
and on September 22nd on
„sustainability and funding“. Both webinars are primarily aimed at editors of Diamond Open Access journals (in Switzerland and
beyond) and are intended to provide a
platform for information and exchange regarding requirements and recommendations for scholar-led
publishing in order to give editors the opportunity to identify potential for optimising
their journal operations.
