 nSehr geehrte Damen und Herren\, liebe Kolleg*innen\,\n\nvon Montag\, 7.10
 . bis Mittwoch\, 9.10.2024 finden die Abschlussworkshops des Projekts open
 Cost an der Universität Regensburg statt. Im Rahmen dieser Workshops wird
  das openCost-Team die erarbeiteten Ergebnisse sowie Nachnutzungsmöglichk
 eiten für die Community präsentieren.\n\nIn einem Workshop am Montag\, d
 en 7.10.\, möchten wir mit Ihnen als Repositorienbetreibende Möglichkeit
 en zur Implementation diskutieren. Ausgehend von einer kurzen Darstellung 
 der Implementation bei den projektbeteiligten Einrichtungen sollen dabei I
 hre Fragen im Mittelpunkt stehen.\n\nIm Rahmen des openCost-Abschlussworks
 hops\, der direkt im Anschluss am 8. und 9.10. stattfindet\, werden wir un
 ter anderem das openCost Schema präsentieren. Darauf aufbauend demonstrie
 ren wir Workflows und Umsetzungen bei den Projektpartner*innen und zeigen 
 Potenziale für Ihre eigenen Einrichtungen auf. Neue Funktionen der EZB\, 
 welche im Rahmen von openCost entstanden und die Prozesse in Ihren Einrich
 tungen erleichtern sollen\, bilden eine weiteren Schwerpunkt der Veranstal
 tung. Auch auf den Austausch von Daten der Einrichtungen\, die im Rahmen d
 es DFG-Förderprogramms „Open Access Publikationskosten“ an die Biblio
 thek des Forschungszentrums Jülich und an OpenAPC melden\, und deren Real
 isation im openCost Format wird eingegangen.\n\nDer Workshop richtet sich 
 an Mitarbeitende wissenschaftlicher Bibliotheken\, teilnehmende Bibliothek
 en am DFG-Programm „Open-Access-Publikationskosten“\, EZB-Anwender*inn
 en\, OA-Community\, Repositorienbetreibende.\n\nBitte merken Sie sich dies

 nesday\, October 9\, 2024\, the final workshops of the openCost project wi
 ll take place at the University of Regensburg. As part of these workshops\
 , the openCost team will present the results obtained as well as possible 
 subsequent uses for the community.\n\nIn a workshop on Monday\, October 7\
 , we would like to discuss implementation options with you as repository o
 perators. Based on a brief presentation of the implementation at the insti
 tutions involved in the project\, the focus will be on your questions.\n\n
 As part of the openCost final workshop\, which will take place directly af
 terwards on October 8 and 9\, we will present the openCost schema\, among 
 other things. Building on this\, we will demonstrate workflows and impleme
 ntations at the institutions of the project partners and show potential fo
 r your own institutions. The event will also focus on new functions of the
  EZB that have been developed as part of openCost and are designed to simp
 lify processes in your institutions. In addition\, the exchange of data fr
 om institutions that report publication costs to the library of Forschungs
 zentrum Jülich and to OpenAPC as part of the DFG funding program “Open 
 Access Publication Costs” and their implementation in openCost format wi
 ll also be discussed.\n\nThe workshop is aimed at employees of academic li
 braries\, libraries participating in the DFG program “Open Access Public
 ation Costs”\, EZB users\, OA community\, repository operators.\n\nPleas
