Dear colleagues, On behalf of the team of the GOAL project, I would like to cordially invite you to the panel discussion «Open Access in Switzerland – Are we reaching the GOALs?» on 24 October 2024, which is
organised by the project «GOAL - Unlocking the Green Open Access Potential» within the framework of the Open Access Week.
In this hybrid event (on site in Zurich and online via Zoom), we want to discuss the current situation and future challenges of Open Access publishing in Switzerland, focusing on small publishers
and practice oriented or professional journals. Our six panelists – one publisher, two journal editors, a policy maker and two legal experts – will discuss what has been achieved so far and what challenges lie ahead.
