[IP-OA_Forum] Upcoming webinar: Rethinking Innovative Open Scholarly Outputs - July 2

OASPA is pleased to announce our next webinar on Wednesday July 2 which will explore the landscape of innovative open access publishing formats, especially those that go beyond traditional monographs. We’ll look at their visibility, practical applications, and how they are currently assessed within research evaluation systems. Despite their growing importance, such outputs are often overlooked in traditional academic assessment frameworks.

Together with our panellists, we hope to explore key questions such as:

  • What types of experimental open scholarly outputs are the most popular and used?

  • What motivates or discourages researchers from pursuing them?

  • What institutional and cultural barriers prevent broader recognition?

  • How can academia evolve to better assess and reward innovative scholarly work?

Please register and join us live for this free webinar and contribute to the discussion.

Full information including speakers can be found on our post. Please share the registration link with all those you think may be interested: https://bit.ly/registration-july-2025.
