[IP-OA_Forum] Copim Conference 2026 "What next for community-led open access book publishing?", Feb 26 & 27, 2026 in London and online. Free registration now open!

With apologies for cross-posting,

We are pleased to announce that the Copim Conference 2026 is now OPEN for bookings. The hybrid event will take place at in person at the Stratford campus of Loughborough University London (located in the 2012 London Olympics Park), and online via Zoom, from 26th to 27th February 2026.

With the conference, Copim will bring together many of the people and projects active in equitable, community-driven open access book publishing across the globe. Timed to coincide with the conclusion of the Copim Open Book Futures project in April 2026, this gathering will look forward and ask: what’s next for community-led open access books?

We will be asking essential questions, sharing bold ideas, and forging collaborative strategies for what comes next. Through lively panels and discussions, participants will tackle the most pressing themes for open access books today, with a focus on collective action. It’s an opportunity for people across the community-led open access ecosystem to chart the next phase of long-form open access publishing together.

For more details and to secure your place, please visit our event website. Please take a look at this year's programme for the latest announcements on panels and contributors - more are being added throughout January, so please do check back.

We are very much looking forward to two days' of exciting discussions on the many facets of community-led publishing, and would love to see you there or online!

With best wishes,

Toby (on behalf of all of us here at Copim 😀)
