Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,

von 17. bis 19. März veranstaltet das openCost-Projektteam die internationale Konferenz „openCost: Navigating Cost Transparency“ am Deutschen Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY in Hamburg, zu der wir Sie herzlich einladen. Ziel ist es, gemeinsam Impulse für die zweite Projektphase zu setzen, praxisnahe Perspektiven aus der Community zu bündeln und Raum für Vernetzung und Austausch zu schaffen.

Neben Beiträgen aus dem Projektteam umfasst das Konferenzprogramm u. a. Beiträge von Open Library of Humanities, TSOSI – Transparency to Sustain Open Science Infrastructure, SeDOA, SCOAP3 und JQuant. Darüber hinaus freuen wir uns, die Keynote von Dr. Angela Holzer (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft) anzukündigen: „Why does the DFG support the development of information budgets and standardized cost data?“.

From March 17 to 19, the openCost project team is organizing the international conference “openCost: Navigating Cost Transparency” at the German Electron Synchrotron DESY in Hamburg, to which we cordially invite you. The aim is to jointly set the course for the second phase of the project, to bring together practical perspectives from the community, and to create space for networking and exchange.

We are happy to announce that the preliminary conference programme is now available online: https://indico.desy.de/event/50077/timetable/#20260319.detailed.
In addition to contributions from the project team, the conference program includes presentations from Open Library of Humanities, TSOSI – Transparency to Sustain Open Science Infrastructure, SeDOA, SCOAP3, and JQuant, among others. We are also very delighted to announce the keynote speech by Dr. Angela Holzer (German Research Foundation): „Why does the DFG support the development of information budgets and standardized cost data?“.
