Webex Webinar Diamond Open Access thrives and sustains itself through collaboration, building on shared knowledge and mutual support. In this Open Access Talk, we focus on the collaboration between three community-driven organisations
supporting Diamond Open Access on a global scale, with outreach to the German publishing landscape. The session features Caroline Ball from
Open Book Collective, Tom Shaw from
Open Journals Collective and Toby Steiner from Thoth Open Metadata. With concrete examples, we aim to explore the potential of collaboration between scholarly initiatives, open infrastructure providers, publishers, and libraries,
and discuss how collaborations might change current academic publishing and financial models within universities. Caroline Ball is the Community Engagement Lead for the Open Book Collective. Tom Shaw is Library Engagement Lead for the Open Journals Collective. Toby Steiner is COO of Thoth Open Metadata. The talk will be held in English. No prior registration is required.
