[IP-OA_Forum] Open Book Publishers is eighteen today

[Tobias Steiner <info@flavoursofopen.science>]

Forwarding the below to celebrate 18 years of scholar-led born-OA book publishing at Open Book Publishers 🍾

The 18 thoughts collected in the below blog post are highly recommended reading (and I would like to particularly highlight points 17 & 18 😀 )

All best,

Toby

Subject: Open Book Publishers is eighteen today

Hi all,

We want to share the news that Open Book Publishers turns eighteen today!

As we reach our maturity as official publishing ‘adults’, we have shared eighteen thoughts on our experiences of scholar-led, open access book publishing on our blog:

https://blogs.openbookpublishers.com/18-thoughts-for-18-years-a-birthday-message-from-obp/

The post includes a lot of appreciation for our allies, supporters and co-conspirators in community-led open access publishing. Thank you all for including us, supporting us and working with us, and here's to what comes next.

All best wishes,
Lucy
