Dear colleagues and friends, We would like to call your attention to a workshop next week at the Kennedy Institute on "The Failures of Institutional Knowledge," co-hosted by the Literature and Culture Departments. You are cordially invited to join one or all of the following three public events, which will be streamed live on Webex Events (no prior registration necessary): On Wednesday, November 10, at 6:15 p.m., Kathleen Fitzpatrick (Michigan State University) will give a talk titled "Failures of Leadership: Rethinking the University in the United States." On Thursday, November 11, at 2:00 p.m., there will be a public panel discussion on the "Failures of the Neoliberal University" (panelists: Katharina Motyl, Regina Schober, Kathleen Fitzpatrick, Aliyyah Abdur-Rahman, and Anja Schwarz). On Thursday November 11, at 4:00 p.m., Aliyyah Abdur-Rahman (Brown University) will give a talk titled "On Refuge and Black Refusal.” Please see the attached poster for further details.
