Dear colleagues and friends, We kindly invite you to our next talk of the Culture and Literature Research Colloquium series - and next week’s event will be a special treat! We’re happy to be hosting literary scholar and writer Karen Ruoff (Kramer), the Director of the Stanford in Berlin Center. She will read from the English version of her recently published novel “Academia: Exzellenz hat ihren Preis” (Argument Verlag, 2021), which has received excellent reviews in the German press. The FAZ calls the novel a “Campusroman der speziellen Art” and “ein großer Spaß für die Leser” - so you can expect to spend an entertaining evening with the author at our Institute. The reading will take place in our usual weekly time slot on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 6 pm (c.t.) in room 340. Please find the event poster and the book flyer attached. Do spread the word! With best wishes, The Culture Department / The Literature Department |
