Subject: [JFKI-News] Invitation: Lecture by Prof. Helen Gibson

Dear students, faculty, and friends of the JFKI,

On January 20^th, we are going to be hosting our next speaker in the Research Colloquium in North American History.

Prof. Helen Gibson will give a talk titled “Beyond the Force of Necessity: Sacred Reciprocity in the Otherwise Practice of Grand Midwifery around the Time of the Falling Stars (1833).”

The talk will be held in room 201 at the John-F.-Kennedy Institute (Lansstraße 7-9) from 6 - 8 pm.
