[JFKI-News] Terra Symposium Queer Latinx Art

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We hope this message finds you well.

We would like to invite you to participate in our upcoming one-day Terra Symposium Queer Latinx Art, which will take
place on Friday, 20th of June at the John F. Kennedy Institute of the Freie Universität Berlin. It is funded by the
Terra Foundation for American Art and the Freie Universität Berlin and organized by the Terra Visiting Professor for
American Art, Alexis Salas.

At the symposium, artists, scholars, and curators within the field will present and discuss their work. At the
symposium, we want to foster important conversations on the intersections of art history, queer studies, and Latinx
studies, furthering the inclusion of Queer Latinx arts in the study of North America.

Date:

Time:
09.00-19.00

Location:
John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies, Lansstraße 7-9, 14195 Berlin, room 340. The performance begins
