Subject: [JFKI-News] Invitation: Text Reading Workshop led by Jessica Gienow-Hecht

Dear students, faculty and friends of the JFKI,

On May 26^th , we are going to be hosting our next speaker in the Research Colloquium in North American History.

Jessica Gienow-Hecht (FU Berlin) will lead a text reading workshop on “Be the Dictator’s Guest: Nation Brand Advertising in Authoritarian Regimes,” with comments from Justin Hart (Texas Tech University).

Please note that the manuscript will be made available upon request. Please contact us if you wish to obtain a copy.

The workshop will be held in room 201 at the John-F.-Kennedy Institute (Lansstraße 7-9) from 4- 6pm.
