Yes, Michael pointed me to that issue in the channel yesterday
already. I checked our documentation in the wiki [1] and it seems to
be wrong at this point unfortunately:

* C2/00: Erase HiMD
* C2/01: Format HiMD

I tried 0x00 but that didn't work. And, puzzingly enough, the original
himdformat which is in git/master as well, uses 0x03 to format and I'm
pretty sure that it worked before with (well, ok, I'm not sure whether
it was with a 235MB or a 1GB medium). Anyway, I guess this problem
should be easily to be solved.

I'm rather wondering what we can do on MacOSX. I connected a USB
CD-ROM yesterday and it was recognized by cdrecord during "-scanbus"
so it seems that cdrecord is scanning for CD/DVD/BD drives only.
