- Subject: [linux-minidisc] Testing hardware available
Hi, thanks to the generous donation of a user from the United States, we have another Sony MiniDisc Walkman available for development and testing. The model number is MZ-M100 [1] which is basically the same as the MZ-RH10 Walkman except that has the same Mac compatibility as the MZ-RH1 Walkman. Both the MZ-RH1 and the MZ-M100 record tracks with a constant encryption key such that the complex OpenMG framework is not required and thus these models are fully compatible with the Mac software "Hi-MD Music Transfer for Mac" [2]. Anyway, if anyone is interested in writing some code and needs hardware for testing, please let me know and I will ship the MZ-M100 anywhere in the world free of charge. Adrian |
