The software supports uploads (transfers from the Walkman to your computer) with any HiMD device, there is no limitation in this regard. The limitation comes when transferring tracks to the Walkman. If you have an MZ-RH1, MZ-M100 or MZ-M200, we can transfers PCM (WAV), ATRAC3, ATRAC3+ and MP3. However, so far MP3 transfers have been implemented (please note that only 2nd and 3rd generation HiMD support MP3 playback). For all other HiMD Walkman, we support MP3 downloads only since we do not have a mechanism to generate encryption keys required for all other devices. The MZ-RH1, M100 and M200 allow "simple" keys which we know how to calculate. > Second question is about OSX. Transfers to the device work with the command line utitlities "netmdcli" and "himdcli" at the moment only. You have to use the Terminal. Adrian -- .''`.
