There are good news for everyone who wants to get rid of SonicStage for ATRAC3+ playback. libav, ffmpeg and eventually VLC will gain support to decode ATRAC3+ files in the very near future. A patch to implement that has finally been posted to the libav-devel list and is expected to be accepted within the next days. This means, that every application which depends on libav or ffmpeg will receive the decoder in the next weeks, too. The patch can be reviewed here (not for the light-hearted): > http://patches.libav.org/patch/43102/ Cheers, Adrian -- .''`.
