just stumbled across this interesting project after I had setup an old Thinkpad T61 with openSUSE of a colleague (had WinXP before) and all worked flawlessly to my surprise (also the peripherals like printers) - even her first steps with the new OS went fine - only until she realized she had a MZ-RH1 lying around which she uses regularly.

I quickly came across http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Archiv/NetMD and found out that on your wiki that you have up-to-date deb-packages but no rpms anymore.
As you mentioned openSUSE's build service on your task list I just wanted to know if you may add it in the near future? -As you noted on your mailinglist that you have some patches for review this could be the ideal occassion ;)
