Merging the NetMD fixes is work-in-progress. The original author of these,
Thomas Arp, is currently not active in software development as he is busy
with other things in his personal life.
I have picked up his changes and I'm almost done cleaning them up. I will
try to get this done the following days. I was too busy with Debian stuff.
