Von: Ethica Journal <ethicajournal@gmail.com> ======================================================================= Want to get your work published in an academic journal? Ethica is a student-run peer-reviewed undergraduate philosophy journal committed to exploring and analysing all areas of philosophical inquiry. It is run by students at Lancaster University in the UK. They seek original and creative contributions in all areas of philosophy and publish up to 12 exceptional papers in one edition annually. Their submissions period is now OPEN! Each year, Ethica collates and releases undergraduate philosophy essays both in hard-copy and in an online PDF format. Their submissions period is open from December 1st 2022 and closes on February 1st 2023 (there’s still time for you to submit your work!). Please visit https://www.ethicajournal.com/submissions for more information. However, these are the key details: 1. You do not need to be a philosophy student to submit, nor a student at Lancaster University! You can be a mathematics student at Harvard University for all Ethica cares. The only eligibility criterion is that you’re an undergraduate student (or have graduated from your undergrad degree within the last year). 2. The paper must be related to philosophy. First and foremost, the essay that you submit must be a philosophy essay. However, Ethica welcomes philosophy papers from all areas of philosophy, such as political philosophy, legal philosophy, philosophy of mind, psychological philosophy, moral philosophy, philosophy of religion, etc. There is an area of philosophy covering any discipline you can think of, including maths, science, business, etc. 3. You can submit coursework. As long as the coursework is edited in accordance with the word count, referencing style, and any other submission requirements particular to Ethica, coursework that has already been submitted towards a degree programme can be submitted towards Ethica. If you are not wanting to submit to the journal but still enjoy philosophy, please consider submitting something for Ethica’s blog, which requires content to be less formal, more accessible and shorter in length than the journal entries.
