About EAJS-L	English German
EAJS-L is the official electronic mailing list of the European Association for Japanese Studies. In addition to communicating announcements of the Association, its activities, and members, the unmoderated list is also a productive venue for various calls for papers, position announcements, requests for research and publishing collaborations, as well as other general posts on Japanese Studies. This unmoderated mailing list can only be obtained by subscribed EAJS members. Please note that subscribed members can only send postings from their subscribed e-mail address. If a member sends a mail from a different mail address, the message will not be posted on the list. All members are free to subscribe with multiple mail addresses. You can disable mail delivery and set digest options on the ‘membership configuration’ page. To allow easy recognition of messages from the list, the subject lines of postings start with the prefix [EAJS-L].

Using EAJS-L
To post a message to all list members, send e-mail to eajs-l@lists.fu-berlin.de You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to EAJS-L
Subscribe to EAJS-L by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your e-mail address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password! Pick a password:  (not your ZEDAT password) Reenter password:  (not your ZEDAT password) If you don't enter any password, a random one will be generated and sent to you.
