Scientific-Technical Manager for the European DRIVER-Project  (m./f.)
(TV-L  E14/BAT Ib)
Fixed term for 24 months.
The European DRIVER Project is a central project
in the "Research Infrastructure" Programme of the
European Commission and is about to enter the
second project phase (DRIVER II).
The position needs to be filled, as the current Project manager
has been appointed to a senior position at one of the DRIVER
partner's universities. You will manage the project, working
closely with the scientific, technical and administrative
coordinators of the project by supporting the effective
collaboration of all partners, across organisational and
technological developments and a broad scale advocacy and awareness
programme.
You will need:
* a Master's degree
* significant experience in digital information management,
  preferably in the area of repositories and Open Access
* previous project management experience including
  the delivery of high-profile, multi-agency projects
* excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with
  a proven ability to work with a wide range of internal
  and external contacts and stakeholders
The post requires a certain amount of travel both within Europe
and internationally. German language skills are desirable but not required.
This post is offered on a two year term contract, with potential for renewal.

Salary is expected to be c. EUR 47.000 p.a. (depending on experience).
