Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

wir freuen uns bekannt geben zu können, dass am 01. März 2023 das von der DFG für 36 Monate geförderte Projekt „PID Network Deutschland – Netzwerk für die Förderung von persistenten Identifikatoren in Wissenschaft und Kultur“ starten wird. 

 

Ziel des Projekts ist es, ein Netzwerk bereits bestehender und sich aktuell formierender Agierender rund um die persistente Identifikation von Personen, Organisationen, Publikationen, Ressourcen und Infrastrukturen im Bereich der digitalen Kommunikation in Wissenschaft und Kultur zu etablieren. Darüber hinaus nimmt das Projekt die im Rahmen des ORCID-DE-Projekts erfolgreich etablierten Maßnahmen zum Community-Building, Wissenstransfer und technischen Optimierung (wie im Dezember 2022 berichtet) auf und führt diese auf eine neue Ebene.

Dear all,

we are excited to announce the start of the DFG funded project "PID Network Deutschland – Network for fostering persistent identifiers in science and culture", on March 01, 2023.

The aim of the project is to establish a network of already existing and currently forming actors around the persistent identification of persons, organizations, publications, resources, and infrastructures in the field of digital communication in science and culture. In addition, the project takes the community building, knowledge transfer, and technical optimization activities that were successfully established under the ORCID DE project (as reported in December 2022), to a new level.
