Betreff: Call for Evidence for the upcoming European Research Area (ERA) Act

Dear Madam/Sir,

The Call for Evidence for the upcoming European Research Area (ERA) Act is now open for feedback until 10 September 2025.

The Commission uses calls for evidence, inter alia, to define the scope of a politically sensitive and/or important new law or policy. The ERA Act should address the remaining challenges for the full implementation of the ERA and support a ‘fifth freedom’, namely the free movement of researchers, scientific knowledge, and technology in the EU single market.

We invite you to:

-          contribute your views via comments or position papers), and

-          help spread the word by sharing this information within your networks to help ensure broad awareness and feedback.
