Well, it actually doesn't compile on MacOS with the original headers (transport.hxx and asctable.h), while it does without any problems on Linux. I didn't have the opportunity to test whether the compiled version actually works, don't have my HiMD Walkman currently around. If you had to make any changes to the headers, please provide the patches as well, as Michael already stated. I wanted to commit the new version of himdscsitest together with the necessary headers so I can actually include the utility in our Debian/Ubuntu packages. Since it's very easy to compile the dvd+rw-tools version of himdscsitest on Linux, we have a quick and dirty preliminary command line utility to send SCSI commands to the HiMD devices before QHiMDTransfer will actually incorporate the functionality.
