Hi Brett,
so in the later example (with the >100bp long sequences) I couldn’t find a difference between parameters of 2 and 15. They all spotted the correct core.
However in the previous mail I just discovered, that an assertion was raised for the k-parameter 14.
If you run your example in debug mode you will see the same.
That explains the weird looking alignment, as it does some strange traceback, because he couldn’t connect the trace from two dp matrices.
