[IP-OA_Forum] Extended Deadline: 'Publications' special issue - Open Access and the Library

Dear All,

we are extending the submission deadline for the ‘Publications’  special issue on ‘Open Access and the Library’ to February 20th:

Open access, once a grassroots movement, has made its way to the heart of universities and especially university and research libraries. A special issue of the open access journal ‘Publications’ is dedicated to exploring the changing role of research libraries in the context of open access. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

 

·        The changing role of university/research libraries

·        Best practice examples of successful OA implementations

·        Management of OA publication funds

·        OA workflows and systems

·        Communications and engagement with authors

·        Change management related to OA

·        New staff roles, skills and training

 

‘Publications’ is an open access journal on scholarly publishing published by MDPI. Guest editors for the special issue are Anja Oberländer (Head of Open Access at the University of Konstanz, Germany) and myself.

The submission deadline is *20 February 2018*; there is no APC.
