Just to check that I have understood your post correctly: When a track is imported from a MD/HiMD with SonicStage, an entry is made in a procfile. However, when you import a track from disc, e.g. a track that has been uploaded with QHiMDTransfer, no entry is made in a procfile. Tracks that do not have an entry in a procfile cannot be transferred/converted. So, in effect SonicStage cannot be used to convert tracks that have been uploaded with QHiMDTransfer? It is possible that the tracks that could be converted had already been imported by SonicStage in the past, but I do not know for sure. However, if tracks that have been uploaded with QHiMDTransfer cannot be converted using SonicStage, I guess that they probably must have been. As samples (requested earlier in the thread - so I include them anyway), I have made 5 recordings (of background noise, (you should hear a clock ticking)) in Hi-LP with a MZ-RH1. Track no. 5 has been divided (T-Mark) using the MZ-RH1 into track 5 and 6. The recordings were made using a Hi-MD disc formatted from SonicStage. The tracks were uploaded with QHiMDTransfer. I am not able to convert any of the tracks using SonicStage. > The procfiles will not be deleted even if you delete the > track from your music library in SonicStage. > > If you want to convert oma files to wav you can use MarCNet´s HiMD > Renderer > instead. > Thank you very much - the samples convert just fine using HiMDRenderer. > Thomas Arp
